CAC is putting on training for our Club volunteers to become registered Officials!
So many of you help out at club events, races, time trials, cross country etc. which is so important and highly valuable to the Club. However, some of the Leagues our children and athletes compete in, are now asking for a requisite number of Officials or penalty points are awarded. In addition ‘Power of 10’ have started to refuse to acknowledge times because the officials are not qualified to the required standards. Our volunteers can do the job – we simply need the required paperwork!
Are you a regular helper at time trials, do you think you ‘just rake the pit, are you a new parent looking for a way to get involved without a big commitment – then perhaps this is for you?
Please come along to either a ‘field’ or ‘track’ session or both!
The training takes 3 hours – plus an hour of Health and Safety. In addition, to complete the award volunteers need gain 4 ‘experiences’. Easy to do across the year! Come along for a half day – or – book both sessions?
