Thanks to everyone who contributed to the club’s very successful Podfather Stirling 10k on Sunday 10 September. The weather was benign, the times were fast, the volunteers were plentiful and cheerful and many personal bests were clocked up. There were 815 finishers in the 10k, 70 in the 2km fun run and 41 in the new 3.5km fun run.
Particular thanks to our title sponsor Podfather who specialise in the development and delivery of software solutions that help companies plan and manage their vehicle fleets more efficiently – their MD (and club member) Colin McCreadie recorded an excellent 37:54.
There were wins in the men’s and women’s races for our own Jamie Crowe (29:16) and Dundee Hawkhill’s Natasha Phillips (33:12 – a new women’s course record). Results are on the Perfect Timing website at http://results.perfecttimingscotland.co.uk/Results.aspx?CId=20065&RId=1077.
Congratulations to Race Director Lewis Millar for making it all happen. The support of Podfather and our other sponsors make the event special and make the job of all the volunteers so much easier!
Lots of chat and photographs on the event Twitter and Facebook feeds. Also, our fantastic photographer @vekicphotos has uploaded his photos and they are amazing! – https://georgevekicphotography.pixieset.com/stirling10k2023/
