Congratulations to everyone taking part in the Podfather Stirling 10k today as well as the 2k and 3.5k fun runs! In the 10k event, there were 946 finishers, with our own Jamie Crowe leading the men’s field home in a fantastic time of 29:42, with a total of 33 finishers from the club. Fionuala Ross of Shettleston led the women’s finishers in 33:13. In the fun runs there were 53 finishers in the 2k and 35 in the 3.5k including 6 club members. It was great to see the Scottish Championships back at the event, with medals and prizes to match.

Congratulations to Race Director Lewis Millar for the hugely successful event, which featured all sorts of fun attractions including Annie the alpaca and Stirling University cheerleaders. Big thanks to everyone in the club who assisted in getting all the jobs done.
