A massive thank you to everyone for their efforts at last night’s club time trials at the Stirling University track. The provisional results are in the PDF file below – let John McDonald (mcdonald@johnglenallan.plus.com) know if you see any errors.

One or two small challenges last night, but I think we overcame them pretty well, and a big thank you to the Declarations Team. The night in numbers saw 81 athletes registered:

• 9 sprint hurdlers;
• 1 300 Metres hurdler;
• 48 100 Metres runners over 12 heats;
• 29 800 Metres runners over 4 heats;
• 14 3,000 Metres runners;
• 39 long jumpers;
• 28 shot putters;
• 1 partridge in a pear tree (OK, I made that bit up – Ed).

totalling some 168 individual performances in 90 minutes. Also 6 – 4 x 100 Metres relay teams, 3 – 2 x 200 Metres relay teams and 2 – 4 x 300 Metres relay teams. Highlight of the night was Cameron Milne leading off the Men’s 4 x 300 Metres relay team – thanks for making up the team Cameron.

The next time trials are on Thursday 29 June – I guess that will be quieter with the last day of the school term the next day.
