It is with deep sadness that we have to inform members and friends of the passing of Alastair Hay. Ali was an outstanding performer for Central for over 20 years. Above that, he was an even better friend to all whom knew him, incredibly kind spirited, and a great supporter of the club and all its athletes. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with his wife Lynsey, his young sons and all his family.

A memorial and funeral service will be held at West Lothian Crematorium on Thursday 27th June at 11:00am for all to attend.

Since that overview was written in 2021, Central won the UK 12 Stage Road Relay in 2023 which meant so much to Ali.
