If you are over 18 you are welcome to come along to our training sessions. We are happy for you to come along on a four week trial basis to see if you like it, and then if you wish to continue after that you can submit your application form and pay via the 'LoveAdmin' link below. Payment by instalments is available.

If you are between 12 and 18 please contact the Membership Secretary - our junior training groups may have a waiting list. If you are under 12, look at our ClubStart Programme.

The Stirling and Balfron pages within the Training & Coaching section provide details of our training locations and times.

Membership categories and rates

In considering the level of subscription for 2026-27 the Committee has considered the Club’s core operating costs and income. After careful consideration of the situation, subscriptions for 2026-27 will be subject to a modest increase to ensure we cover core operating costs from our core income.

Membership rates for 12 months from 1 October. If you're joining from April onwards (i.e. in the second half of the membership year), the membership rates are reduced by 50%.

Payment of subscription

Payment is by Direct Debit and can be set up either as a non-recurring single payment or as instalments, which spreads the cost over 4 consecutive months. Any previously set up pre-authorisations will be cancelled (you may receive notification of this) and will need to be set up again to pay by instalments.

We understand that some families may have issues with payment.  If you are in this situation and expect to find it difficult to pay the fee, please contact the Membership Secretary to discuss payment options.

Due to the considerable amount of time and effort expended on 'chasing up' those who fail to renew their membership in the approved timescales, a 'late payment' levy of 15% of the annual membership fee will be charged by the system automatically to any renewal fees received after 31 October.

Club expectations

All our Junior athlete members are expected to compete in a minimum of 4 competitions per year (in addition to Club time trials).

All athletes over the age of 18, or parents of athletes under the age of 18, are expected to help the club in some way during the year. The online membership process asks you for information on how you can help.

Membership benefits

Some of the many benefits of belonging to the club are set out on the Membership benefits page.

Scottish Athletics membership

You will also have to join Scottish Athletics if you are going to compete in championships or leagues. Scottish Athletics membership can be obtained online at https://www.scottishathletics.org.uk/membership/ .
